Play almost any disc format with the VocoPro DVD-Duet karaoke system, enabling you to sing along with your collection of CDG, MP3 compilations, or output DVDs to a video monitor--you can even display a slideshow of JPEG photos. A great choice for use in bars, churches, schools, and clubs as well as in-home systems, this semi-pro system provides 80 watts of total output (40W + 40W), and the shock-resistant DVD drive will keep playing even when the dancefloor is at its wildest. In fact, the DVD-Duet is so shock resistant that it can be played in moving cars, RVs, planes and boats without skipping (110 or 240V AC adaptor required).

VocoPro DVD-Duet 80W CD / Dual Cassette / AM / FM Karaoke System Reviews
34 of 37 people found the following review helpful Good sound but..., By This review is from: VocoPro DVD-Duet 80W CD / Dual Cassette / AM / FM Karaoke System (Electronics) The system has very good sound. I recently did a concert for in an 80 seat room, and the sound easily reached the back row. I would recommend the system. However, re ease of use -- if you are planning to perform a one person show you'd be better off getting a system with number buttons on the machine. I.e., if you need to play #8, you push #8.The remote has number keys, but the remote doesn't always work. The other issue I have is that you can't simply restart the current track, pushing the << button takes you back to the previous track, then you'll have to go forward. That's kind of messed up. 18 of 18 people found the following review helpful disappointed, This review is from: VocoPro DVD-Duet 80W CD / Dual Cassette / AM / FM Karaoke System (Electronics) I payed a lot of money for the Vocopro Duet. I was happy with the features and sound quality, but the CD player quit working properly before the first year. I contacted the company and they sent me another one. I was able to use the new one for two years and then the CD player gave out completely (no longer under warranty). I took it to a shop to fix it and it would have cost me just as much to fix it as it would to buy a new one. I was very disappointed in the quality of this product. I now have about $500.00 worth of CDGs and no system to play them with. I am very hesitant to buy another VocoPro product. 9 of 9 people found the following review helpful Has survived over a year at poolside, so more durable than it appears, By RicR2 (McLean, VA USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: VocoPro DVD-Duet 80W CD / Dual Cassette / AM / FM Karaoke System (Electronics) Terms:VP = VocoPro DVD-Duet. H10 = Sony ZS-H10CP Heavy-Duty CD Radio Boombox My first impression of the VP, with its plastic knobs & pasteboard back, was that it would wear out quickly, but it has survived poolside (providing voice & CD-music to water aerobics classes) for over a year. First, some comments on its features, and then on its sound quality. The VP does not have an Aux Input jack, so to play an IPod through it I use one of the two microphone jacks. There are separate volume controls for the two microphone inputs, but no separate volume control for either the CD player or the (two) cassette players. The FM sounds like the absolutely cheapest tuner possible, and may or may not be Stereo FM. The FM tuner is analog, not digital, and its sound is coarse. My impression is that the AM/FM was added simply to advertise that the VP had it. The CD player has lower tolerance with CD errors than any other CD player I... Read more |
